Midweek is not out of the question, would be late eve though.  I work mon - fri 9-5.30 (used to do shifts like yourself - vet nurse - but got fed up of the weekend cover!), home by 6.20, could chuck bike in car and set off by 7,poss earlier, maybe meet somewhere halfway - ish if you know of anywhere?

Had a good ride yday with the Pootles - even got the start of a tan....oh and a few bruises as I tried to impale myself on my handlebars  - good job you're medically trained Sinead!

as for bruises i know how you feel, mine are all colours still from a week ago!

Yep that has always been my speciality!  Chain slippage and SPD's are a lethal combination.....
