I started cycling in Feb 08 and I'm really enjoying it with very little or no aches or pains. Recently I started to have some problems with heel pain in the morning just when I get up. As soon as I strech it and get going the pain is something of the past for that day. I have looked in some anatomy books and most refer back to plantar fasciitis. My pain is not at the bottom of my heel but on the back of the heel where the Calcaneal tendon originates. Is this pain related to my cycling? I do cycle with SDP's and they are on their loosest setting with loads of float to give me more movement. Any advice would be very welcome please.
