I live in Derby Shari, so can't do Afan during the week! Wish I could though...

Was just asking about Cwm Carn as might go there on Sunday, after Saturday in Afan. I've done the XC loop already, so would be looking to be shown the ropes on the DH course, though my bike is not up to it, and myself not far behind!

Have a good one, the last flowy section of Trwch trail is pretty good.

Like OMG, the 75 (felt like a 100) Rough ride was hellish! My time was a very shameful 7 hours almost exactly for the 75 km. )-:

That is like, pretty embarrassing. Enjoyed that steep 'cyclists dismount now' section - I was like 'DISMOUNT? it's the only fucking downhill for miles and you want me to DISMOUNT!' needless to say I certainly did not dismount as I did enough of that on the uphills at the end!

Well done to anyone who finished either distance & if anyone did do the 75 without suffering heatstroke then that's an achievment in itself!!

 All I can say is, book me in for next year then, when i've stupidly forgotten how hard it was!
