what winter tights do you wear?

i'm ideally looking for £50 or less, no pad included winter tights - just for UK use.

i ordered some Altura winter cruisers from wiggle but have sent them back due a terrible fit on me.  (even though i'll be wearing underneath normal softshell trousers!)

please help recommend me some running out of time before i need to wear them over the New Year

I wear nike ones as they just fit me perfectly.  But I went into Evans and tried every pair on to find some that fitted me.

hmm looking on the net at the mo but i think i might need to go to the shops and try them on..... the sizes vary so much and every make will have dif fits! arrghhh

i've left it a bit late now and beginning to wonder how cold i'll get this xmas break in wales now

Well I was cold today, but it might warm up before Christmas.

Other option is to order them and send the ones that don't fit back?

Ground effect do awesome winter clothes, great proce due to the exchange rate and really quick delivery... daddy long legs are unisex and fit a treat, and the Ice queen for your top is also brilliant and even has long arms and thumb holes to keep you super snug...the zip is 3/4 length so great if you have loaded your layers

My husband finds it very difficult to find longs/bibs to fit (he's a sprinter). So we ordered about 12 pairs in one go from Wiggle (honestly!) - he tried them all on & found that the Endura ones fitted (it works really well having lots of pairs at once to compare). We then returned them & got credited within a day. We probably ended up trying on many more than you can get in any one shop & it was a really efficient way of doing it.

I find Wiggle in particular are great about returns & credit you really quickly - they also have a good range. I think their policy probably works quite well as I often order things from them secure in the knowledge I can easily return them.
