JJ - I find Pearl Izumi XL comes up nice and big - certainly fine for a 16 - and Girlsruntoo has a great selection, plus they provide excellent service. Site navigation can be a bit confusing, it's probably best to shop by brand or size. They still have a fair amount of sale stuff from the summer ranges.
I have tried skorts, and find them wonderful for road bike / shopping biking etc, but too short for most mtb stuff where I seem to end up shredded and stung even in 3/4 length shorts. Do men's hairy legs protect them from nettles in some way???

I recently got a Sugoi 'Form' jersey from the Snow & Rock sale and it is the right shape for 'proper' boobs! Yay!

I'm fed up of women's stuff that is either too tight across my lady bumps or else if it fits there it's too flappy round my waist.
We ain't all built like Tara Palmer-Tomkinson, manufacturers...

Maybe men are too busy thinking about 'man-flu' to notice the nettle stings?

I love the Groundeffect clothes from New Zealand. Their website is:

http://www.groundeffect.co.nz

They deliver really quickly and the it's really good. Well worth a look, especially if you were going to buy online anyway.
I've currently got:
Jitterbug shorts
Witches britches 3/4 length tights
Starfish long sleeved top
Hot Toddy merino base layer
Ice Queen windproof fleece

Only other riding specific clothing I wear is an £8 wicking short sleeved jersey from Halfords and a pair of mens Hind baggies.

Hey larger ladies, I have a Polaris women's jersey in a 14 which fits my "proper lady shape" top half, which curves in all the right(?) places properly without being tight or baggy anywhere. Polaris do jerseys up to an 18 - I know for sure because my lbs has still got one like mine kicking about.

I recently got a gilet from Bigglo - see shopping links from this site- which seemed like it should be exactly what I was after (bright, women's fit, pockets). After a bit of discussion with the guys at Bigglo I ordered the large and was so dissapointed when I tried it on - massiev round the boobs, wouldn't do up round the waist- not very women's specific at all! (fitted my medium size hubby well though) The days of women's gear being the same as mens but smaller are fast leaving us behind, but there are still a few bit and pieces out there.

Someone was talking about base layers . Got to be Patagonia capilene stuff. I've had mine 10 years and have skiied, cycled, walked, climbed, run, huskkied and worn the top as a t shirt in them almost constantly and they are fine. No pulls, pills or smells. Also have a heavyweught version fir when it's really cold. They've outlasted a set of helly hansen lifa and berghaus base layers by years.

I got a pair of Hypnotic Designs's Lucy Lefty pants last spring and have worn them loads, mostly mtbing, but also on road bike (bit of a gnary courier look)and in the gym, the padding is not massivem but does the job for me and not too bulky for gym or other off the bike stuff. Great for those of us not wild about going out in public in lycra.

I am also of the larger size! I was very impressed with a sugoi jersey I bought at beyond bikes in cranleigh, I found them and pedal on in tadley very helpful.
At the cycle show decathlon had some nice female jerseys and they were large when I tried one on!
