i've heard they're good and from the price tag that comes with them you'd hope they were good! lol.
just wish i could try a few on before deciding. oh the joys of being a female rider!

ok... i've finally decided to go for either the sidi genius 5 2007 (£81.99 chain reaction) or the specialized 2007 torch (£71.99 wiggle)

just need to decide what sizes to order. going to order both in the hope that one fits and can just send one pair back.

have tried 39 on in specialized which is their size 6(!)and it was too small so would u recommend a 40 if i'm a size 6 in normal shoes?

regarding the sidi i've never tried any on so what does anyone recommend?

thanks!

a size 40 in sidi - one size up from your normal shoe size.

cheers. i'll get some ordered. still grieves me to have to order off internet when big shops cant be bothered to stock ladies stuff. not that i'm bitter! lol

The Specialized size 39 fits me perfect as does a size 40 Sidi, so i'd recommend a 41 in the Sidi's.

cheers! i've just ordered a 40 in both.

bikescooby- sorry read urs too late!

oh and i'm blaming you all if they're both crap! lol. only joking. appreciate all the help.

ordered some look keo pedals to finsih them off too so fingers crossed at least one pair will fit!

the sidi came and are a brilliant fit. the torch have also come but waiting to get to the post office to pick them up.

only problem now is... i dont have a bike! u may have read my other post but i got knocked off my road bike by a big brand new mercedes 4x4 at the wked. bike's a write off and she's pleading poverty about paying up cash(gl mercedes start at 50 grand by the way and its not a company car!) so no bike and no sign of any insurance companies paying up any time soon so might be sending both shoes back instead of having them sitting not being used!

nothings ever simple! oh and a tip for you all that shouldnt need saying- wear a helmet! it really did save my skull being split open!

the specialized by the way weren't as good. the fit was poor and the 39 i'd tried on was tiny and the 40 felt like it should have been labelled a 41- there was no in between. design was nice though but sidi felt better quality and durability.

glad to hear it. I guess you just need to get your bike fixed after your run-in and you will be in business :-)
