Hi Treehugger - got your text, great - see you there at 10.30. It is the same route you fell off on but we don't have to go up Chapel Gate - there are better options! If anyone else fancies joining us we will be starting at the Sett Valley Car park, Hayfield at 10.30 tomorrow.

Hi Everyone Julie Grrr and I are planning a ride somewhere in the Peak District on Sat 28th. Anyone fancy joining us? Not really sure where. Options include: Wharnecliffe, Cut Gate, Hope, Hayfield, Whaley Bridge...... Or somewhere new? Anyone fancy it? If so any thoughts as to where to ride? I am happy to lead if it is any of the above or also happy to try somewhere new if someone else knows some routes. Ros

I might be, haven't ridden in the peaks for ages, will have to check with Ali in case she has plans. What sort of length ride were you thinking. If it stays dry I wouldn't mind trying cut gate.
I was thinking about 3-4 hour ride. I would suggest Jacobs Ladder but only did that last weekend. I love Cut Gate - always happy to ride there as long as it is dry and has been for a while otherwise it can be a quagmire. We normally just ride out and back from the Langsett side - we park in a layby just off the main road. It takes about 3 hours (for me and Gavin). Dont really mind where though....
thanks for the invite but its a rare weekend that im actually riding my bloke. it'll be the first ride on my new bike so it might need tweaking as im riding Riding Ladybower2 Sunday though, if your at a loose end. Who's out next week after work then? any night (apart from Friday) 6pm onwards is good with me. Lets make the most of the long light nights huh.

ads - do you need to correct that first sentence - there's a word missing!
psml thats true too hehe email me woman
i'll prob come out sat if that's ok - dont mind jacob's ladder again - or cut gate - or there's always our end if you fancy blacka and stanage ride. Or Chatsworth is a nice ride but only about 2 1/2 hours but cold prob extend....
Mmm, I don't mind TH. Trio - what about you? Are you and Ali coming out to play on Saturday?
Not sure yet, make plans and I'll let you know nearer the time. Sorry but I'm not much good at forward planning at the moment.
Well Treehugger, I quite fancy something a bit different so would be happy to come over your side. We could either do your Stanage/ Blacka or Chatsworth route or do a bit of map reading and try a route neither of us have done. What do you reckon? By the way Julie has said she doesn't mind what we do so lets just decide and I will let her know the plan.
