I've only done that one ride that we did the other week round Chatsworth so I really don't mind, it will just be me now as OH has decided he's going to complete the DIY at home (and so he should! )

For Stanage is that the A625 off the M1?

just wondering now if it easier to come to my house. i will email you postcode - you would get off M1 at J29 chesterfield and my house is about 20 mins from there.

Hello everyone, I will be doing the Hayfield loop with Julie Grr on Sunday 3rd. Anyone is welcome to join us. Not sure about start time but prob about 10.30 from Hayfield Sett Valley Trail car park. I will be adding a couple of extra techy bits just to keep things interesting and new!

Oooh I wasn't going to ride this weekend but I am tempted....

You are welcome to join us missgroover - is 10.30 early enough for you? It is a bit of a trek for you isn't it? The ride will take about 3 hours and there are lots of nice pubs in Hayfield for lunch afterwards.

Can you let me know where the start point is pls as I've not been up there before?  I'm not definate as I need to check with the OH first in case he's made plans

Hi Missgroover - we are meeting in Hayfield at the Sett Valley car park. Aiming to set off at 10.30am. Meeting point is here:

Thanks for that, may see you then

hey Ros, thanks for a great ride, loved the extra little techy sections which made the Hayfield loop much more interesting than it usually is.

Jane I rode the steps down the ford again over on the way down from the shooting cabin, and this time chanting the mantra...'look at the exit....look at the exit' (rather than looking at the drop off the side, which is what I did last week and nearly ended up off the side), and it worked, it's really easy, you could definitely do it..see you tomorrow night.

Hey Julie well done.

I've just walked my bike up Jacobs ladder and down again.  Tell you all tomorrow.
