The Hope ride would have been ideal, but I'm in Essex this w/end, are you planning a ride the next Saturday, the 1st? If so I'm keen to come.

Hi folks, I was meant to be busy all weekend but got told last night that I might be allowed out as plans might be changing. Will know for sure tonight. If so I'd definetly be up for a ride in the peaks on saturday. Was it 11am you were thinking of meeting at Hope?

Probably 11am although 11.30 may be more realistic for me. We may be joining up with Sian from Notts who is leading a girls ride from Hope on Sat.

We are meeting up for a ride tonight so will confirm details on this thread tomorrow.

Hi Everyone - just to let you know if anyone is keen to join us on Saturday for a ride we are meeting in Hope at 11.30am by the Woodbine cafe. The route should last around 3 hours and will probably include Win Hill, the Beast and some of the bridleways around Ladybower. Let us know if you want to meet us.

By the way SO's are welcome too as we are planning on bringing ours along (with strict instructions not to ride too fast).

I'm not sure if I'll make it, trains arrive at Hope from Manchester at 10:39 and 11:39 so it'll depend how cold/wet it is as I'll be hanging around a while. I'll text india to let her know as my internet still down at home. It's so annoying the car being off the road.

Hi guys - good to ride with you today. I am off to the bike shop in Sheffield tomorrow to try and sort out my brake levers - hopefully I will be able brake next time I go out on my new bike!

I agreed with India the date for the next ride:

Sunday 10th Dec from Hayfield - to include a descent of Jacobs Ladder, up Mam Tor and a descent of rushups edge. It will be about 4 hours in total. Everyone is welcome - let us know if you want to come along.

Hi Treehugger - yes definitely up for a ride on Sat. We did originally say Sun but Sat is fine with me. Is 10am at the visitor centre in Hayfield ok with you?
