Sun's better for me next couple weeks - can always meet you somewhere even if no one else is about (won't get lost this time...)

I fancy summat diff to Ladybower...Ads, you know a Bakewell route?

I'm planning on an evening of fun with my newly gained GPS knowledge and an attempt at memory map planning, so I may come up with a gem!!

This weekend I have no plans so can do either.  Next week could do sat at a push but not till the pm....

wait til closer to the time then to find out which days best weather wise.

i've done bakewell a few times now (bf even proposed on route!) but that doesn't mean i won't get lost! so we might need your gps skills ( the routes in white peak vertebrate graphics guide - called bakewell )

Treehugger is recovering from eye surgery but still riding this weekend too i think.

post again fri to confirm days.

I am honing my hill skills - still pants but getting there slowly. Anyway, I might be up for the Bakewell ride - Ads has been threatening me with this for ages!

Will keep an eye on this thread when possible but Ads, please text or mail me to let me know the plan. (weather is meant to break at end of this week unfortunately. I hope not though - I have my 'hill head' on!! Grrrrrr.... )

ok regardless of weather im riding this weekend - do you want to say sunday then miss groover? as i don't want to ride in the evening on the weekend.

i was thinking a leisurely 10.30ish start at Bakewell? (park on the road on the right just before the bridge coming into bakewell )

I'll attempt to lead but im useless so will bring the book and we can muddle through it.

Bakewell and it's tarts it is then

I can attempt to put the route into my gps and follow it....hee hee

Show/hide user stats

Sunday it is then   Will sort route out without AA map this time - I have both yours and Mrs D's numbers if I get lost....

Is that tarts as in puddings or tarts as in girls...???

Enjoy the tarts girls (and the cakes ), I got an invite to do Stanage - I just can't turn it down!

Mrs D, your reputation as new GPS guru hangs in the balance... Have fun!

Show/hide user stats
ooo er caroline's doin stanage...ads doin bakewell - how shall i decide.....?
Show/hide user stats
Can you fit in another tart? Me?  I think I am free Sunday, and may be ever so sightly fitter now, but even Ads may have to wait for me up the hills
Show/hide user stats
TH you must be Stanaged to death...come do Bakewell. Anyway, Caroline's prob out jumpin on Stanage with fit men!
Show/hide user stats
I won't keep them all to myself, promise!
