Me as support for Trio (12hr solo) and my friend Ollie's coming over from Dublin to do it solo too.....

The pair of them are crazy.....

Me as Ali M says (thanks so much for doing support) as I'm riding it solo!

We have 2 teams-Binners Baracus and the 'A' team (don't ask).

Both teams of 4.

I'll be there, riding a mixed pair. Hope the weather clears up before then otherwise it will be another mud fest (brings back memories of Mayhem!).
Show/hide user stats
It won't be like Mayhem Ros, when I did the preview ride the weather was horrid, but it was rideable!
Show/hide user stats
True, it is not southern claggy mud that we are dealing with. I guess we probably won't need mud tyres then?
Show/hide user stats
No I don't think we will.  It seems to be on paths that are already there, so although not used to quite the volume of tyres should be fine!

I agree trio, having ridden it in the rain, it was o.k.  I.I.R.C. there is only one short muddy bit.

The roots could be a bit slippy though.

See you all either Fri. evening or Sat, or wave as you pass me (hee hee).

not going to be there as I'm at a trade show with work .  Enjoy it, sounds like the sociable side might be as good as the race itself. oh well good luck all.

It's getting close...

My dam computer has had a fatal crash with all the info on though

I'm sure I can find my way there, infact I could ride there with everything in a rucksack....I don't think so

see yaz for the party ;-D......

Course was muddy last night when we rode it!

Ha ha, just got back and reading the comments about mud tyres, you needed mud tyres, ropes and crampons to get up some of the stuff !!

No doubt everyone else is still pedallin round now. Everyone seemed to be doing OK when I left.

Well done to K8to for coming in first (ladies solo)

Ros B. and hubby for 1st. place ( mixed pairs)

and trio for  3rd. place (ladies solo).

I went out riding in my walking boots.

Was lots of fun.

Yes well done everybody. It was pretty grim in places but strangely enjoyable all the same!! That bomb hole was a bit of a death trap though - did anyone manage to ride it without crashing in a heap at the bottom? My best effort was sliding down on my bum on my last lap!
Show/hide user stats
K8to rode it a few times, I didn't try it as the last thing I want to do is hurt myself!  That's where I lost loads of time though, trying to drag my bike round after me!!!

How did it go today then Trio? You weren't too knackered after yesterday then?
