Yes all the way to Southport for chips and ice-cream, then back.  Only about 60miles from Horwich!

Well the body armour is collecting dust, but curly bars over my dead body !!

hey alice - at least somebody got the same as here - rain every day in greater or lesser amounts? yes i will  hang onto that sunshine thought.

how are you doing anyhow - you must be getting excited now. not long to go?

Hi India, getting a bit uncomfortably big now, not biking, just walking, and actually quite glad of the cool, wet weather. Always nicer at work (Leeds), but office is cooler than house anyway!   10 weeks to go.
Show/hide user stats

10 weeks wow that is soon!

We had lots of lovely rain here this evening, waterproofs aren't so effective when it gets really heavy!!

And even despite the rain the patch of garden under my sycamore still needed watering after I put some plants in cos the ground is just sooooo dry.

Southport and back well that should inject some fitness into our legs not sure about the chips n ice cream though, won;t help the weight loss.

alice so unless it comes early a whole extra year of nursery placement before school....

We always get a rush of mum's suddenly wanting inducing before the end of August, it is always so funny cos they think we do not what is going on but we have met every trick in the book, and know what the game is.

Hi Sharon, yes, the whole extra year of nursery thing has crossed my mind more that once!  But hey up, there's not a lot I can do, although we do have a family history of first babies being 2-7 weeks early, so I may end up with a tiny youngster, rather than a big bully who's the eldest in it's year.  And at my ripe old age, was surprised at how quickly everything happened once we'd put our mind to it.

Hey they do not have to be the biggest/oldest in the year to be the bully, my Andrew (23rd July) and small for his age has been known to pack a punch and we have been called in cos he has hurt someone.

Anyway best wishes for the rest of your pregnancy.

Thought it was summer? Well think again.Parts of Britain will see up to a month's worth of rain dumped on them today, leading to localised flooding and possible travel problems.

With no sign of the sun, much of south and central England and parts of Wales will wake up to leaden skies and torrential rain.

South Wales will bear the brunt of the wet weather and could see up to three-quarters of the month's average rainfall in one day, forecasters said.

The Met Office has issued a severe weather warning for central and southern England.

 All good fun

Well it's dry here at the moment, though I predict it will be raining by 7pm when myself and another individual from here attempt to ride a time trial.

Nooo!!! not more rain! i was hoping to go out climbing (or is that a dirty word on this forum?)!!! I don't mind biking in the rain because i tent to get muddy anyway, but climbing is totally dependent on the weather.

I can't believe how GREY sheffield is! only jsut moved up here for a year or so and its awful.
