I'll see if I can do a half day then on the Fri and come up then.  Up for ride sat and sun (but as usual I'll be leaving my sense of direction at home!)

i'm afraid TH i can't get fri off work, my works only gives us 17 days off ( not inc bh & xmas) give me a mail to discuss  - no probs if you want to go fri and i get there by other means.

So if the others are doing a killer loop on sat, sunday will be a gentle pootle? in case people ave hangovers after the birthday party celebrations 

killer sat and pootle sunday sounds good to me! esp if theres bdasy celebrations to be had on the sat night!

Hey - we're back from Morzine now, so I can catch up.

I do leurve the Lakes.... I would be well up for a Sat epic, followed by a night out and a "pootle" ride on Sunday. Got 3 weekends of mtbing to deal with beforehand, but should be ok.  I could lead a ride on Sat. There's always the good ole "Round Skiddaw" anyway.....  will come up with some options if you like...

I may be able to get my hands on a loop as I was up with Dales MTB'ing last weekend and they know the Lakes well so will email them for it.

Just recapping - who wants to stay in the hostel and when as I'll contact them and see what the deal is?
