Anyone else up for this? Could make a weekend of it and I could possibly guide a gentle pootle around the Clwyds... and anyone who wants to just go round Llandegla while others do the course?

 Hello,
From responses I see you may want to go "around the Clwyds"!? We could put on a guided ride over the Clwyds for you? Or could let you plan your own route and maybe do a shuttle back to Llandegla for you?
Or...
Oneplanet are currently trying to (and almost do have) permission from some land owners to be able to ride over to Llangollen from the centre. When we get this, you could start after dinner, head over the Llangollen where you could all stay, shower etc then go out for some food.
Let me know what you think....
I am also thinking of food, skills session, accomodation ...

 hi all is it time for a bit of a roll call. looks at this stage like me, ads (cost dependent), julie grrr, suzi bear, lou p, hetty and sarah446. Have i missed anyone? what are plans - One planet have talked about a BBQ etc. I'm not too bothered about that but will fit in with everone else - I'm more interested in the jumps and drops course but dont mind a guided ride on the other day if there is some cheap accomm. It would be good to do the course on the Sat and then perhaps do a ride on the Sun to put skills learned into practise. WHat dp people think??

I'm not bothered about accom as I only live 30 minutes away, but if theres a group camping somewhere I'll come and join you! Katy - how much would it cost for the course and the course+BBQ for say a minimum of 6 people?

Hi I live fairly close as well but might come over in my campervan so a campsite would be fine for me. not bothered about a BBQ either as I'm veggie! Will there be bikes to hire? not sure mine is up to being thrown over big drops (not that I am either)..

Just so you all know - this is still on. Spoke to Katy last night and she's still trying to sort out access for a ride they want to guide to Llangollen on the sunday, then we'll get some prices!

Hey yes still the 6th and 7th september 2008,
Breakfast from 9am and then the core skills can start at 9:30am (for the briefing for the session, you can have with you your coffee and bacon buttie in the classroom.)
The same on sunday! And then BBQ will be about 3pm.

Katy - did you sort out access for the ride towards Llangollen? It would be nice to go somewhere that we're not usually allow to ride! Is that the plan for the sunday guided ride?
