Hi there,
Bob at Oneplanet Adventure at Llandegla here, you definatly dont have to be able to do a 4ft drop or jump to come on our courses here! You start from as little as 4 inches and you would not be expected to do anything outside your skill level. All courses are adjusted to suit the confidence of the rider. It's all in the comfort zone..however if we think you have the skills we will definatly give you a bit of encouragment to push yourself further. We alway try to have female coach on our Ladies only courses too.
If you guys are intrested and can get groups of 8 people together we could put a Shecycles 'private' course together give you a bit of a discount and do a Jumps N Drops style course with you all.
There is quite a bit of confusion with course names at the moment with everyone calling things Core Skills or Jumps N Drops ECT but were working with a group of course providers who are all involved with the CTC to work towards a common course programs hopefully which will make things esier in the future.
If you guys are interested in a 'She Cycles' course drop us a mail in info@oneplanetadventure.co.uk of call 01978751656 and we can take things from there.
Happy riding!
Bob @OPA
P.S. We have afew spaces left on sunday LADIES ONLY JUMPS AND DROPS COURSE! email info@oneplanetadventure.co.uk if you would like more info or to book your place on the course!

i've only just noticed this thread and surprised noones responded to it. i definitely want to jump rather than roll over drop offs, and would like to do mini table tops. i think m friend ads would like this. how much money would we be looking at each - what if we could get a group of 6????
Yep - I'd be up for this if I am free on whatever date it is planned for. Let us know what dates people have in mind. Wouldn't mind making a weekend of it either and doing a ride out on the other day.
Me too - could do with learning some core skills now that I'm happier with the bike. Can't do July but any time after that would be great!
I might be a possible depending on dates and cost
oooh that would be great - i'll find out waht i can. you've got quite a busy schedule, julie what free weekends have you got??? end of july - 1st week in Sept??
I'd be up for it too
are you ok for any weekend hetty?
I know I am definitely not able to do dates between 25th July and 8th August but most other weekends should be ok.
yep im up for it. just depends what dates, as quite booked up now: (all july booked up) first wkend aug, first wkend sept, 2nd wkend sept are free. go without me if im the odd one out though.
hi all shall we go for one fo these the 9th/10th Aug - 30/31 Aug or 6/7 Sept. myself i'd like to go sooner rather than later. what suits?????
Think those dates are ok for me at the moment.
think 9/10 aug is SITS and julie grr will be doing that - and i might mmh better go with the later 2
Spoke to Bob last night and he's going to talk to Katy and put some possible dates together - probably looking at september now.... Did suggest that we combine it with SheCycles BBQ!! I suspect that weekend ~15/16 sept is a no go if people are doing the Penrith merida... Course structure would cater for all levels - even the newbies like me , and those of you wanting to do big jumps
.jpg) Do we have any idea of costings?
Thanks Lou. Sounds great and I love the idea about the BBQ. I'll try to keep September weekends free in the meantime.
Sorry no idea on costs - we would get a group discount tho depending on numbers... But then that doesn't help if you don't know what the intial cost is
Sounds like the makings of a "cunning plan" Will try to keep September as free as possible then. I think it would be great if we could make a weekend of it with maybe a ride on the other day and a BBQ. Anyone who didn't want to do the course could then still join up with us for the ride and social. What are the accommodation options like - is there a campsite or B & B nearby ? Look forward to receiving more details.

Hey, Sorry we havent been in touch sooner!
For anyone attending a Jumps and Drops course at Oneplanet it is £120, But if we are putting on a private course for you ladies, with a BBQ and maybe some extras we can see what we can do on the course price!
Bob did mention that a weekend in September would be best, but reading back over some comments most of you are busy ladies!
If you can let me know whether the
6th/7th September 13th/14th - Penrith Merida!? 20th/21st September 27th/28th - We have our Athertons Fundamental Training Days on!
Would be best for you, then I will start putting plans in motion!
Hope to hear from you all soon,
