 It starts today, it's on in Manchester and there's still tickets for every day except saturday if anyone fancies going to watch some live cycling.

Think most days are now sold out except for some standing only tickets, but it can sometimes be possible to use someone's seat until they turn up, not everyone stays for the full sessions. It's on tv this pm from 4pm live and again at 7.15 on British Eurosport, and is only daily throughout the meet. You're welcome to come share a brew and my tv, trio etc, you'll have to bring your own chocolate cake thou

Just called the ticket hotline and they only have standing left for friday - it is £10 per tickect plus and £2 booking fee. What do you reckon Trio and anyone else, want to go? Looks like you can get a bus out to the velodrome from Piccadily Gardens so could meet you there.

 The "I bike Manchester" festival kicks off this Friday, a critical mass ride at 6pm from Central Library and a party at Cafe Saki starts at 8pm (opposire Edinburgh Bike Coop) on Wilmslow Road. If you were thinking of doing anything after the track!

Tonight was great, won't mention anything in particular as I know some people will have recorded it. But me and Ros were on our feet screaming at points.

It sure was a great day/ night out. I thought I would get bored watching people chase each other around a track for 7 hours but I literally had to be dragged away so that I didn't miss my train home. It was ace, so great to watch a sport that Britain does well in for a change! What an atmosphere!
