Ally!
Are you still out there? Hope you're feeling a bit more rested!!?

Have just got back from Wales, went down to Coed y Brenin on friday morning with Dave, Adi and a couple of others and had a marvellous time, rode at Penmachno yesterday on the way home. All good! Boys turned up on their "cross country" bikes with six inches of travel front and rear so was bit freaked but it all turned out ok!! Week b4, I rode at Selkirk merida which I have to say was pretty hard and then at Glen Tress. Made the mistake of riding one of their Superlights so have now of course got one on order. Can't wait!!

My legs could do with an easier week so have left a message about ?riding Wednesday morning for Hazel but if that doesn't work out, I can ride after work (or both??) at 7ish/7.30. Am off to north yorks at the weekend so no saturday ride this week.

What d'ya think? Anyone interested in wednesday?

Still here. Not sure about Weds am not managing to get away from work til about 8 at the moment so will prob pass. Thursday would be a better bet?
Wales etc sounds great - you're really going for it girl! Need to get some decent lights in as would be good to keep riding evenings through the winter - managed it last year til Nov then wimped out for a few months...

Oooo can't do Wednesday sorry Ruth, i'm a full time Office Monkey : (
But am always up for riding at the weekends, so if anyone fancies meeting up this weekend let me know.
I've started going out on evening mtb rides with a club based in Derbyshire, DVATC. Good laugh and the rides usual last around 2hrs.

Ruth, can you give me an idea of route on Sat, as i will be on my HT,  so probably wouldn't be up for mammoth ride. I could perhaps meet you on route for a shorter loop. or cop out at one of the cafe stops. Its the V brakes - dont give me a great deal of confidence after having discs! I'm getting some discs to put on soon though! Stumpy is having a fork service ans a bit of a fettle!

Hi Treehugger!

Most of boys have wimped out, just me and a chap called Dave left! So we can decide on saturday am what we fancy... am sure can come up with something acceptable all round! Was thinking of anticlockwise type route, up round edale, rushup-winnats, maybe up toawrds think its ?cave dale?? out toward peak forest direction and back towards Hope but am open to suggestions.. Daves pretty laid back and into cafe stops too!!

So no fear! We'll come up with something!

And you have my number if u need to ring! R x

May be riding tomorrow night (with lights) and wednesday afternoon for half one-ish. Local. May head to the woods. Anyone interested?

Dave got himself some new teeth Treehugger.. (having removed them on the way done to Hope!) but unfortunately one has dropped off again already.. but the fear hasn't got him! I couldn't keep up down Dore and Blackamoor last wednesday!

Sorry Ruth can't do tonight and am at work tom pm. Keep letting me know though! Hope all well - am a bit frightened by the sound of Dave's teeth..

hi - i was wondering how dave got on.  glad to see that it didn't keep him out for long. that is a tricky descent just there! i think he may be a latent downhiller!

it'll probably be a thurs ride for me if anything this week. quick stanage route or summat.

will probably be the merida now when i see you next. are you going up on the sat?

Hello! We'll probably go on the Friday afternoon and get ourselves settled on the Rugby pitches.. I'll probably ride at Llandegla on the saturday which looks family friendly so our wee man can have a walk with his Dad too. Then I'm baby sitting on the Sunday as its his Dad's turn to ride    so i'll no doubt hear what a fantastic route it has been and feel very envious!!

I'm nipping out on the road now. Haven't been out for a couple of months and really struggled with the lack of small gears on Sunday. Have got too used to granny rings!! Must ride more hills!!

Riding at Dalby this Saturday with the lads... hope no-one loses anymore teeth!!

See you soon I hope!

well i'm sure we'll see you there. i will give you a text when we get there and if you want to meet up and ride with us sat that will be great. nice tea shop at llandegla too. enjoy dalby - i really like it, though the new bits will take a bit of settling in i dare say.
